UC Launch

UC Launch, run from the Haas School of Business, is a zero-equity accelerator for University of California-affiliated startups. Teams are eligible if they include at least one UC student, alumnus, faculty or staff member, whether they are building a prototype or already have one.

The program provides lean startup training from faculty, industry mentors and access to a network of founders, investors and partners, culminating in a Demo Day where startups can win up to $60K in prize money. Since 2015 it reports accelerating more than 290 companies whose founders have raised over $2.54 billion.
