Institute for Business Innovation
The Institute for Business Innovation (IBI) at Berkeley Haas disseminates research on innovation, trains students to be inventive and entrepreneurial leaders, and facilitates innovation in organizations. It hosts conferences and seminars on open innovation, entrepreneurship and business analytics, publishes the journal Industrial and Corporate Change with Oxford University Press, and funds faculty research.
IBI and its centers offer graduate and undergraduate courses, experiential courses in design thinking and applied innovation, competitions for university-affiliated startups, and the NSF-funded Bay Area Innovation Corps for commercializing science and technology. Its centers and programs include the Berkeley Haas Entrepreneurship Program, the Garwood Center for Corporate Innovation, the Fisher Center for Business Analytics, Innovation, Creativity & Design Practice, and the Center for Healthcare Marketplace Innovation.
