QB3-Berkeley

QB3-Berkeley works at the interface of biology, physics and engineering, and says its researchers create technologies that improve human health and drive economic growth in California. It runs core research facilities in Stanley Hall, including the Biomolecular Nanotechnology Center, Cal-Cryo, Genomics, MacroLab, Mass Spectrometry, and Cell & Tissue Analysis / High-Throughput Screening.

The QB3 Garage@Berkeley is an approximately 800 sq ft wet-lab incubator with eight stations for startups, each with bench and desk space, plus a shared prep bench and floor-standing equipment. Resident companies can use QB3-Berkeley's core facilities; prospective tenants apply through an inquiry form. QB3-Berkeley also offers training such as a Lab Fundamentals Bootcamp, science leadership training and undergraduate biotech internships.
