Berkeley Frontier Fund

Berkeley Frontier Fund (BFF) is a philanthropic venture capital fund that invests in frontier technology startups through the Berkeley network. Its mission is to invest in the best Berkeley startups and give Berkeley a meaningful, sustainable revenue source.

The fund commits 30% of fund profits to student programs in entrepreneurship, diversity and inclusion. Its general partners contribute 50% of carried interest and its limited partners 25% of returns. Alumni founders support the fund by offering it the chance to invest in their companies. The team of Berkeley alumni has invested in more than 100 companies from early to late stage.
