Berkeley Center for Digital Assets
The Berkeley Center for Digital Assets (CDA) uses blockchain and digital twins to rethink how assets are valued, verified and exchanged. It studies digital assets, from everyday content to cryptocurrencies, NFTs and tokenized assets, through research and real-world pilots.
The center prepares students in AI, blockchain and digital modeling through hands-on projects and coursework. It also convenes global partners and takes proposals for projects. It is overseen by UC Berkeley's College of Engineering and led by Faculty Director Tarek I. Zohdi and Managing Director Karin H. Bauer.
