Bakar Labs Campus Programs

Bakar Labs Campus Programs, formerly the Bakar BioEnginuity Hub, connect UC Berkeley students and faculty with the biotech ecosystem. They include the Bakar Fellows Program, the BioEnginuity Impact Grant for doctoral students working on bioconvergence, the Neurotech Collider Lab, and the NIH-supported IMPRINT Scholars Program.

The Bakar Fellows Program, running since 2012, gives research support to UC Berkeley faculty whose projects are past basic research but not yet ready for commercialization, through the Bakar Award and AIC-Bakar Award. It also supports graduate students, postdocs and project scientists as Innovation Fellows, and undergraduates as Ignite Scholars.
