SUMMARY:Cybersecurity and the Clean Energy Transition
DESCRIPTION:The ability of the US and other countries to meet their clean e
nergy and climate commitments will depend partly on how well we can design
secure new\, distributed renewable energy infrastructure and train a work
force to manage it — and how well the climate and clean energy and cyber
security communities are working together. Join the Institute for Security
and Technology and the UC Berkeley Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity for
a dialogue about what we can learn from how each community manages risk\,
and what steps we need to take now to ensure that cybersecurity is an ena
bler for an ambitious and rapid-scale clean energy transition. Advanced re
 gistration is required to attend.
