AIEB X Afore - Building with Conviction

Calling all entrepreneurs, entrepre-curious folks, and talented builders! AIEB is excited to let you know that we’re co-hosting an event with Afore Capital on campus. Afore Capital is a $300M venture capital fund that specializes in pre-seed/seed investments. Their focus is on supporting founders at the earliest stages of building innovative companies. They invest between $500K to $2M+ in high-conviction, pre-traction startups, partnering with founders from Day 0 to help them scale.

 

We’ll kick off with a brief panel discussion on building conviction – a deep dive with a VC partner and some portfolio companies into how founders validate their ideas before fully committing to them.

 

After the panel, there will be an opportunity for students and founders to connect. Afore’s portfolio companies are looking to match with Berkeley’s top builders to collaborate on their ventures.
